Wanted to share a photo with you all that will probably stir many of your memory banks of our good old Marysville Main Street.  It was decided that folks and their families needed a little relief from the "self-quarantining" for COVID-19, so they advertised a "Friday Night Cruisin'" event with appropriate music (and requests) being streamed from KNDY.  I was greater than expected!  From the Marshall County Courthouse U-turn corner to the United Dairies west turn, it was bumper to bumper.  A wonderful opportunity to maintain social distancing, wave at good friends and share their friendly smiles.  ALMOST like we used to!  Only under much more peaceful circumstances.

The last time I was in Marysville, I arrived about 7:00 in the evening on a Tuesday in late March, 2019. I came in from the south on US 77. I turned left on Broadway. I was surprised that I was the only car on the street in either direction. I had never seen that in my entire life.

Frankfort had the same thing going on. Traffic was backed up for six blocks on Hyway9/99. Quite a site.

Walt thanks for sending. Don't you think that is was a great idea considering the circumstances. We never stopped for 2 1/2 hours. It kind of made us cringe "dragging Main" in a mini van, but what the heck. At least it got us out of the house. We took our Priest with us and he had a ball. He even wore his shades trying to look cool! Hello to Charlotte. Fran
